Description
Join the celebration at Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park's annual "Mansion by Candlelight" event on October 11 and 12, 2024. This year is particularly special, marking Harman Blennerhassett’s 260th birthday, the 35th anniversary of the mansion's reconstruction, and the 40th anniversary of the park's status as a West Virginia State Park.
Experience an 18th-century party with the mansion illuminated by hundreds of candles and lanterns. Guests will enjoy period music, dancing, card games, and outdoor activities, including horse-drawn wagon rides and a bonfire featuring Appalachian music and storytelling.
Tickets are $37 for adults and $27 for children (ages 3-12), which includes a round-trip boat ride on the Island Belle, a horse-drawn wagon ride, and admission to the Mansion by Candlelight. A special candlelight "Harvest Supper" will be available for $20 for adults and $10 for children, with reservations required by September 29.

Visitors will board the Island Belle sternwheeler at Civitan Park in Belpre to begin the journey to Blennerhassett Island.
