Looking for the perfect spot to help your kids beat the heat? If you're unsure where to go, we've got you covered! Check out our comprehensive list of pools and splash pads around Parkersburg, Vienna, Marietta and the surrounding area all ideal for cooling off on those scorching summer days.

We advise always checking with the venue when possible before heading out, as hours and availability can change due to various factors, ranging from weather to staffing issues.

Public Pools in Wood County

Parkersburg, WV

Parkersburg City Park Pool & Splash Pad

Located inside the Parkersburg City Park, this pool has a slide, a splash pad, gazebos with loungers, changing rooms and showers and a concession stand. 

  • Address: 1920 Parks Avenue, Parkersburg, WV 26101
  • Admission: Free admission for Kids 2 and under and Active Military. Admission for kids ages 3-17, Seniors Ages 55 and up and Veterans is $4. Admission for adults ages 18-54 is $6. 
  • Hours: Monday -Saturday Noon to 6:00 pm. Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase.

Southwood Park Pool and Slide

  • Address: 2104 Belmont Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26101
  • Admission: Free admission for Kids 2 and under and Active Military. Admission for Kids ages 3-17, Seniors Ages 55 and up and Veterans is $4. Admission for adults ages 18-54 is $6. 
  • Hours: Monday-Saturday Noon to 6:00 pm. Sunday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase

Vienna Swimming Pool at Jackson Park

  • Address: 1601 34th Street, Vienna, WV 26105 
  • Admission: Free admission for Kids 3 and under. Admission for kids ages 4-11, Seniors Ages 61 and up and Veterans is $4. Admission for ages 12-60 is $5. 
  • Hours: Open Swim Everyday from Noon to 5:00 pm and Tuesdays 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase.

Williamstown Healthy Lifestyle Pool

  • Address: 502 Williams Ave, Williamstown, WV, United States, West Virginia
  • Admission: $5 Per Person. Free admission for Kids 3 and under. 
  • Hours: Monday through Saturday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase.

Beverly-Waterford Community Pool

  • Address: 501 5th Street in Beverly, OH 45715
  • Admission: The daily rate for Ages 4 and up is $5 per person. Kids 3 and under are free.
  • Hours: Open daily from noon until 5:00 p.m.
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase.

Devola Pool

The Devola pool is a public pool has a fenced off baby pool area with a gazebo for shade. They also have a deep end and diving boards. They offer lounge chairs and umbrellas.

  • Admission: Daily admission is $7 per person.
  • Hours: Open daily from noon until 7:00 p.m.
  • Good to Know: Outside food and beverages are not permitted. A concession stand is available and offers drinks and light snacks for purchase.

Marietta Aquatic Center at Indian Acres Park

To call the Marietta Aquatic Center a public pool would be misleading since it is THE biggest waterpark in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Treat the kids to a pirate ship-themed play area, two water slides, a lazy river, a toddler-friendly splash pad, massaging whirlpool, a kids pool, and a lap pool. 

  • Location: 233 Pennsylvania Ave, Marietta, OH
  • Admission: $6 per kid per day for ages 3 to 12. Daily admission for kids ages 13 to 17,  seniors ages 55 and up, and military is $7. Daily admission for all other adults is $8. Kids 2 and under are FREE.
  • Hours: Monday through Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Good to Know: Concessions will not be available for purchase. Outside food and drinks will be allowed as long as trash is disposed of in the proper receptacles. No glass containers or alcohol of any kind are permitted.
